The Azusa Police Foundation was re-established in November 2022, as a 501(c)(3) corporation under California and Federal law. The Azusa Police Foundation, in partnership with Azusa citizens, businesses and philanthropic organizations, provide resources to the Azusa Police Department (AZPD), allowing the leadership and men and women of AZPD to serve at their highest level and to improve public safety, decrease crime, and make Azusa a safer place to live, learn, work and visit. 

The specific purpose of the Azusa Police Foundation is to raise funds to support programs, projects and activities of the Azusa Police Department that are not fully funded by the budget of the City of Azusa.
